Get started on your first, next step - work in 15-minute intervals.

We can accomplish a lot in 15 minutes. We can write an email that initiates a project. We can drive to the gym. We can read a few pages from a good book. We can pay bills. We can schedule important meetings. We can sign up for an event. We can check in with a friend. We can get started on A LOT in 15 minutes.

If you have your priorities and goals, with their corresponding deliverables, milestones, and actions, you have a long list of things you can do.

Leverage 15-minute intervals to get started on the first, next step for your priorities.

If you feel stuck on a project. If you feel like you’re procrastinating for one reason or another, ask yourself, what’s the first, next step? Then, take 15-minutes to get started on it.

On the flip side, if you get consumed with working on something and lose track of time, check-in every 15 minutes to see if you should continue with what you’re doing or move to something else. Time blindness may have kicked in.

Use a timer to track the 15-minutes, to know when your time is up.

You may get momentum and keep going.

Or, you may decide to start on something else for 15-minutes.

Prioritize and keep going in 15-minute intervals and see what progress you can make.

If you get distracted, come back to the task for the remainder of the 15-minutes.

Action: Practice this 3-5 times each day and see how it works for you.
