This is an invitation to slow down—with care and intention. This is a yoga and breathwork retreat designed to help you pause. This is a weekend retreat to relax and reset, practicing vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, breathwork and relaxation.

Coach and Yoga Instructor

The weekend will be facilitated by Brieanne Yuchasz, ViewPoint Coaching & Consulting Partner, ICF Associate Certified Coach, and Shakti trained Yoga Instructor.

Brieanne has been practicing vinyasa yoga for 20+ years and teaching for 5+ years and has been coaching for 12+ years. Brieanne has a calm presence and enjoys inspiring others to clarify their vision, master their mindset, and take intentional action in order thrive. She has spent 22+ years in the Tech Industry and enjoys empowering impactful growth through 1:1 coaching, group coaching, and yoga instruction.

Coach and Breathwork Guide

Shelley Prosise will provide breathwork and coaching during the retreat, bringing over 15 years of experience in Higher Education and 20 years of leadership across various domains, including research, human resources, operations, and change management. Her career is defined by her adeptness at building robust relationships, empowering teams, fostering innovation, implementing high-quality systems, and delivering results even in the most challenging environments.

As a seasoned coach, Shelley works with clients to go beyond traditional career and leadership coaching. She is passionate about partnering in a thought-provoking and creative process, helping leaders tap into their potential, increase awareness, eliminate barriers, and unlock sources of creativity and productivity.

Sign up details

  1. Choose your room: Review the room availability and choose 1st and 2nd option, and contact Brieanne with your details

  2. Submit payment: Submit $500USD non-refundable deposit via Zelle or Credit Card (+3% fee)

  3. Get the details: You’ll receive a detailed packet within 2 weeks of submitting your deposit with agenda and forms and survey, including food allergies and restrictions.

  4. Make travel arrangements: You’ll be notified when the ferry system will be open for car reservations. Reservations are required to ensure timely arrival and departure.


Questions

  • Check-in on Thursday, January 29th at 2pm and begin to relax and reset. Check-out on Feb 1st at 11am.

  • Review the room list and identify 1 or 2 options that would work for you. Email Brieanne and submit your $500USD deposit via credit card or Zelle.

  • We have reserved the Retreat House and Harbor House for retreat participants. There are single rooms, shared rooms, and open rooms available. Refer to the Retreat Room sheet.

  • Yes, each afternoon from 1pm - 4pm there are optional activities (focused yoga workshops, hiking, or Yin Yoga depending on the day) that you can opt out of to enjoy a massage or other island activities (not included). The details will be provided within 2 weeks of signing up.

  • Yes, you can arrive on Wednesday evening with no additional charge. Facilitated meals and activities will start Thursday at 2pm. You may also reserve a separate cabin before or after the retreat dates.

  • Yes, you can choose to camp. Brrr, it will be cold.

  • Once you sign up, you’ll receive a questionnaire to collect your food allergies and restrictions, and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • Breathwork is the practice of using conscious, intentional breathing techniques to create shifts in your emotional, physical, and mental state. Through specific breath patterns, you can move trapped energy through your system, regulate your nervous system, and access altered states of consciousness that promote healing, emotional resilience, and self-discovery. It's essentially a tool that puts the power of transformation directly in your hands - or rather, in your breath.
